He was our head college scouting guy. He was also the guy other teams were trying to poach off and on over the past 5-7 years.

So basically he was probably another guy we should have kept around that might have rubbed the right person the wrong way.

But thats just speculation on my part.

Totally wrong Campbell has been with the skins for like 17 or 20 years this move gives kyle smith more power so pecking order was Synder ,Bruce ,Sheffer Doug, Campbell kyle smith Cole spencer.. now it is Snyder Bruce Sheffer Doug, kyle ,Cole spencer.. it looks like Bruce is moving soon.. then it be Synder ,Sheffer Doug Kyle smith,

On surface this news is meh but its actually good news since Campbell said one year macho Harris is the greatest player I have ever scouted

coach is right on this one. Smith got promoted last year because he is supposed to be a hot item around the league. They let Campbells contract expire without renewing. I don't think it was a huge surprise. You can't look back at the last 17 years and name 9 good drafts so I am not hurting over him moving on.
