The irony of people arguing Rivers is better than Russ because Russ is a game manager is amusing. Russ throws the ball 50% further in the air on average. Rivers just dumps off short passes to his excellent receivers.

We will just forget that his bad play cost them the lead and put them in a huge hole first.
BTW - Let's not act like comebacks against the Seahawks is a difficult thing to do.
Other notable QB's that have "epic" forth quarter comebacks against the Seahawks lately.
Matt Stafford (only to be screwed by the officials)
Andy Dalton
Cam Newton
Nick Foles
I don't how many yards that gave up if they only yielded 17 pts...you're supposed to win that game @ home...You tell me he threw a TD late 4th just to reach 14.
LOL
dude
she just asked me to move in with her.

its the amount of yards the ball is actually in the air.Air Yards?!?!? The fuck? Is that stat as meaningless as it sounds?

You mean Rivers knows how to run an offense and Wilson just throws it up hoping his WRs come down with it after he runs out of the pocket? Yeah that's mostly the point here.

You know who knows how to run the fvck out of a short yardage offence? Sam Bradford...
That pretty-much describes Wilson perfectly when I have watched him. But he DOES do a great job scrambling and keeping the play alive. I like watching that part of his game. I'm not sold on him as a passer.

And it would have been the game winner if his kicker doesn't blow it. He threw two picks against a good defense that day too, without digging much more it probably wasn't his best outing, although he threw 40 times for 300 and had to do it all himself as Tomlinson ran 12 times for 24 yards and they had less than 60 yards rushing total. Completely different than if he was just sitting back on the Seahawks not having to do much.
