All I can say is the Pats offense is different when they can run.

It is certainly nice to be able to run the ball.

RB's aren't necessarily why a team is able to run the ball, however; which sounds counterintuitive until you realize who opens the holes.

I agree. The way games have changed, a strong, one-headed attack is no longer existent. It’s more about RB by committee, with few exceptions, that don’t work very well.

And of course, more passing game makes RBs more part of the overall attack.
