As a Sermon owner in D2 i can tell you that a healthy scratch in week 1 and a concussion in week 2 is not an ideal start to a season or a career. Plus i am losing confidence that Shanny knows what he is doing.

Well, not to tip my hand, but my personal unwritten rule is the first year is critical for a rookie. If he cant win the job that first year, he wont. Look at Zack Moss. I know there are exceptions, but by and large, that train has left the station.

I think you were right when you said 49ers RBs are a headache. I know Shanny has been playing musical chairs with his RBs, but good grief the 49ers RBs get hurt so often it's hard to believe. The entire RB corp injured year after year it seems like. I thought Sermon would be the cure, but doesn't look like it yet.
If it involves Mitchell a feed just came across that he isnt practicing either. Apparently his shoulder is worse than they thought.

I was thinking Ekler also. Give it a shoot. Yes Ekler could very likely get hurt, but until he does he's helping your lineup a lot. Chat with him, maybe mention how you love owning Chubb, then after he's tells you Chubb is untouchable throw out Moore and Semon for Ekler and then if &when he gives you a thumbs down ask him what else it would take? Maybe make a offer for Chubb, then go back to Ekler. All this is for naught if he doesn't love Moore though.
