Tough game tonight with lefty Duffy pitching, .163 vs. lefties at the plate, and they all hit Nola. Odubel will need to have another good night. Joseph should bust out with a pair of bombs (maybe too much after-breakfast Drambuie, but it is a holiday weekend). Go Phillllies!

I saw that Ben Revere had a game-winning hit last night for the Nats. I remember that dude was just beginning to turn the corner when he was with the Phillies. Joseph is really struggling while Bourjos is getting going on a consistent basis. We just need to continue to hit improve our offense with everyone putting the ball in play with guys like Asche, Odubel, Franco, etc.

I'm guessing tonight is the night that Nola either turns it around or ends up on the DL for some previously undiagnosed injury. I will say that his FIP is waaay lower than his ERA on the season so maybe he's just had some bad luck lately.

I don't think that we will see an improvement in Nola today. I have come to the conclusion that he has a tired arm. Give him three weeks off to get his strength back and it should help.
