Now with 40% less pitching! Although this was probably addition by subtraction, putting Young and Medlin on the IR.

Colon has a homerun hangover, gets blasted by LA

San Francisco looks fine, when they're not playing an NL East team

Discust!

Can Seattle keep up this pace? Ditto the White Sox?

Still going to take the over 35 you haters predicted but don't ask me to go 50......

76 games against the powerful NL East...you're currently projecting to go 29-47 in those games, so you only need to find 6 wins against the puny AL Central to make bank.

I think you could go 40, easily

I'm taking solace in flipping to Red Sox games.... the Royals have one nasty hangover.

Thought this was hilarious last night. Altuve looks like a 10 year old next to Papi.

Speaking of the Pads... I hear the Royals may make an offer of a 3B (not Moose) to get Shields back.

I haven't heard that.
Is KC's farm system that depleted, or they just don't have any pitcher ready to make the jump up right now?

Btw: are the Royals one of the teams interested in Tim Lincecum?

I doubt it. The payroll is bloated as is- and I presume they are referring to Cuthbert if that were true; an underwhelming package for Shields. And quite frankly, Shields just isn't a very good pitcher anymore, imo.

Upper minors is pretty depleted for the most part. Some guys in the lower minors with upside and are interesting, but have yet to prove much ala the Ryan O'Hearns of the world. I have yet to hear anything at all about Lincecum, and quite frankly, I'd rather try one of the arms in AAA or AA before Lincecum.

Kyle Zimmer is an option, but he is an obvious red flag for injury. His stuff by most reports is still very, very good. Like Glasnow good.
