Im sure they would've. What I'm saying is Elway went into the offseason with the notion he was going to find his answer, with arguably the most important position other than qb, at pick number 20. With a very specific person in mind. There is no argument that our offensive line was putrid and we shored it up with Leary. I'll hold out judgement on Watson. I just find it troublesome that was the game plan. Unless of course if you take the rumors of Stephenson or Ty actually being legit contenders for LT

Not true though. Elway when FA started made offers to a few different LT's. The problem was the price got out of control. Then draft night the Broncos tried to trade up for McCaffrey but again the price got too high and also called the Browns asking them one last time what the price for Thomas was but again the price was way too high. They loved Bolles but we all know that Thomas is a star so makes sense. Yes the Broncos have loved Bolles for a very long time. Been reported plenty that they had Bolles as a top-15 pick in this draft. The Seahawks did as well and had been calling all the teams from about pick 14 on trying to figure out the price to get ahead of the Broncos to get Bolles. Thankfully with the run on QB's (thank you KC and Houston!) it pushed other great talent down the board that the teams in front of us couldn't pass on. So Bolles landed in our laps.

Yeah the way some of them act and the way they announce selection is becoming a soap opera.

At the same time I can get it. These guys are pretty damn excited you just got drafted in round 1 and are becoming a millionaire. I might go a bit wild too.

But the way they announce the picks, go back to the old way. Enough with the presentations.

Watch on internet and not have the silly crap, like old time . NFL.net rocks . Buckey Brooks rocks .. they do not show actual pick BS just what the player is and the low down and some of the reasons why he might be drafted and if it is a good pick . Video all about the pick no BS about who might be the next pick ..

I cut my cable/satlight off now for 2 years don't miss one bit .

I agree but I don't mind a couple a year ..Hopefully he understands the right time for those types of things . It is not after a 70 yard TD . But fine when we are in a slump and facing 4th down anyways

That's why I thought Lamp would of been better pick. If Paradis is 100%, and stays healthy and Bolles at least holds his own....win win. If not, Denver is in big trouble. Denver, imo anyway, has nobody to replace Paradis if he can't be there. We're screwed. Lamp could of filled in at all three spots. For some here, anyway, that center position if Matt goes down, is apparently not a big deaI. I beg to differ.
