Why do all that sliding in preseason only to take a direct blow in a real game? Stupid...I thought RG3 was a good move as a stop gap QB, but CLE will be picking top 2, and do what they should've done this in the draft...take a QB in round 1.

RG3 is a QB2 from this point forward now.

I thought he might be a good reclamation project...but only if you can stay on the field...taking hits like he has that could've been easily avoided, ensures that you won't stay on the field...that's why I say stupid.

FWIW Vick played a decade without knowing how to read a DEF (he did get better under Morningwig) worth a damn.

For those who didn't see it, it was not the kind of play on which a QB gets hurt. He was not going to be able to run for the first down, he was running out of bounds, and should have either slid or just stepped out sooner. In other words, dumb way to get hurt. A needless hit down late in a game you were losing.
