Wow, lots of action on this one. Lee May is the last Red to homer at Crosley, June 24, 1970. Back to back with Bench -- off Juan Marichal.

Aaron (not Hank) Boone is the last Red to homer in Riverfront (Cinergy). 2002

In 1974, Hank (not Boone) Aaron hit 714 off Reds' Jack Billingham and a few days later hit 715 off Al Downing.

Stretching the idea and bit you started, I know. I will stop now, as I could not find any name that would fit. I would have settled as the guy on 3rd being Idaho, but, alas............

A & C had a unique lineup.

So ... what was the right fielder's name?

The names given in the routine for the players at each position are:
First Base: Who
Second Base: What
Third Base: I Don't Know
Left field: Why
Center field: Because
Pitcher: Tomorrow
Catcher: Today
Shortstop: I Don't Care

RIGHT FIELDER: ______________________

I've heard that question before and think the answer was "Nobody".

The right fielder doesn't get mentioned in the comic routine, the answer comes from some sort of game of which I don't remember the name.

It's funny I remember that and couldn't tell you the other names other than "Who" on first which is the easiest one with it being the title of the routine.

Good Knowledge. I learned something new, or, had forgotten if I had ever known.

On another thread we see the answer to who activated the lights at Crosley's first night game, Pres. Roosevelt.

Who activated the wrecking ball that began the demolition of Crosley Field?

The guy who does not talk to his deadbeat, banned for life father? The guy who had a cup of coffee MLB career only because of his father?

PRJ was in the indy league that I follow, but not for very long.

Gary was managed for a couple of years (03-04) by Garry Templeton, whose son Gary Jr. was on the team and very terrible at ball. Garry the Elder lasted 2 years, finished with terrible records and was replaced by a guy who won the league title his first year, finished 2nd the next year, won it again in 07 ... and is still managing the team.

This guy is otherwise mostly a trivia question but he has another moment or two to remember, but not with the Reds.
