I was just reading about this, great news for Notre Dame get your QB committed early to help recruit other star players particularly from Texas. He threw for like 2500 yards, rushed for 800, threw 25 TD's and rushed for 12 or 13 TD's so I would say so.

Yeah he is talking to his teammate now to join him. 4 star WR. That would be a nice double get.

I think Adams might be teammates with DT Kurt Hinish who was also at Junior Day this weekend. He is supposedly announcing tomorrow. He is a 3 star DT, but he's been getting a lot of attention over the last few weeks. On 247Sports he's gone from a 25% crystal ball prediction for ND earlier today to a 60%. We've moved for 11th to 7th in recruiting ranking for 2017 after the Adams verbal.

I just heard that Elite DT and current OSU commit Garrett Haskell is still on campus this morning following Junior Day at ND. I believe he was considered a ND lean before he committed to the Buckeyes. Nothing solid, but he's STILL there which means there may be some reason for optimism.

Yeah seemed a little out of the blue when he committed to Ohio State but that sort of thing happens some times look at Hayes last year he was talking about Notre Dame being #1 and then committed to USC before eventually flipping to Notre Dame. Maybe we'll have another case of that. It would be nice to take 2 or 3 DT's in this class.

Hinish seems like a good addition and he had some solid power 5 offers including a few SEC offers.

JR Days gets us another. Teammate and best friend of 4 star LB David Adams.

Overall I think this is a Solid pick up. We need some DT depth.

Following the White verbal ND moves to 4th, jumping Bama and the U. I bet we may go higher after the Werner announcement. What a great day!

They are recruiting some tough players. I like it. Go look at some of their film. That DT looks good. He looks like a Pass rusher from the DT position.

I have to believe that Stanley going high in the draft, and the success of Zack Martin in Dalas has made ND a prime option for top OL talent.

The players love Heistand. When the recruits talk to the OL players, they rave about him. And, the fact that we're starting to put guys in the NFL regularly at the OL position bodes well. Stanley will go 1st round, Zach Martin all-pro, his brother should make a 53 man roster, Watt, Trevor Robinson, both playing, other guys who were Weis guys still playing.

Yes it seems like almost every year now we have OL going in the 1st or 2nd rd. The last 3 years ND has recruited well at the OL position. This is great. I would rather recruit high at the OL, QB an DL position then any others. You build that foundation with both Lines and a QB you will win games.

Bad news is what he said in a way. His brother said they are setting up a visit with #2. meaning ND is #2(stanford we all know is his #1) or meaning his 2nd visit. Either way who cares.

Well, I don't think the kid is being a drama queen. It seems he really is taking his time and weighing (and re-weighing) his options. I frankly would rather him go anywhere other than Stanford, because that means we'll have to play against him, but whatever. We're already into Spring ball, and focusing on where things are going.
