Found this on another site....
"It looks like they needed to free up 2 roster spots until they could put Elam and Carl Davis on IR so one of them would be eligible for return. One spot was for Hester. They couldn't release a non-vested player because he would be subject to waivers so it looks like Forsett had the easiest contract to do this with when it comes to dead money. I'm curious what the new contract looks like."

I was surprised by this one right now, I knew he was gone end of season because he just can't contribute that much outside of Kubes system...I think he asked to be released so he could try to get a starting job somewhere else....Can someone say hello Canada !!!! great guy, too old and limited to be a starter in this league though...
