So 18th in YPP is the highest ranking of any offensive metric you have, yet they're a top 10 offense. What else went into them being the 11th "most efficient" last year?

I'm saying they will be this upcoming season with a healthy full season of Love. And I'm not going over this again. We've been through it ad nauseum. I feel like I've already told you this multiple times.

Stanford is just West Coast Wisconsin. The difference is that Wisconsin controls the ball. Oh, yeah, our OL is the concensus best. Half an offense right there.

That said, I wouldn't say Wisconsin has a Top 10 offense.

The point of an offense is to score points. If you are 38th in the nation in points scored, you're not a top 10 offense. If Love goes down, this is a bottom 40 offense. No chance they belong on this list as an entirely 1-dimensional offense, let alone as high on the list as they are.

Team B: Scores 32 with a TOP of 30:15
Team C: Scores 36 with a TOP of 28:24

All 3 are in the same conference. Which one is the best actual offense.

KJ Costello was okay last year. If he shows incremental improvement it could make them pretty deadly offensively.

I don't though and I have in this thread. Last year I was wrong about making them a CFP team. But the year before that I had them pegged correctly and the year before that I had them pegged correctly.

Assuming this happened all year, that team A. Team B scored less than 3 pts per possession and Team A scored 4 pts per. TOP was simply to highlight that pace can be significant factor in how many pts an offense scores

Yes it also means the other team is controlling the ball more. I would rather have control of the ball rather than other team moving up and down the field on me Especially considering Stanford is supposed to play “possession” football.

So are they saving up those possessions for the next game? Probably team B because team A let’s the other team move up and down the field on them. Also it means that team A muffed multiple punts and/or lost onside kicks.
