I recognize that every player needs a day off once in a while. Moreland was away with an injury and then he was cold for a decent stretch. Then finally the last couple games he is looking like he is ready to start being more productive with the bat and now today Wash decides what the hell let me sit Moreland today and I will start Chirinos a 1B. Wash is no doubt oblivious to the fact that the AS Break is just 6 games away and then Moreland can rest four whole days in a row. Perez is pitching tonight and the kid could prolly use the best defense possible behind him and who has Wash put at 1B, a part-time AAA quality catcher hitting in the 160's. Wash's freaking gut move at action again. Lord I wish someone would tell him it is just gas and that if he farts the gut will stop yacking at him. I will bet anyone that Moreland will be called upon in a close game tonight to pinch hit for Chirinos and be a late inning defensive replacement. This kind of crappy day off is pretty useless but it is classic Wash. I can hear Moreland now in the playoffs... wow that half game off that Wash got me before the AS Break really made me fresh and allowed me to hit 20 HRs and hit 367 in the second half.
