Looks good to me
Nope. Maybe 2 because Perez isn’t any betterAny doubt about our need for another SP?
This is exactly what I was saying in preseason when others were getting upset at us acquiring too many starters and not addressing the bullpen.Any doubt about our need for another SP?
I’m not totally sold on Bradford and I don’t think the FO or manager are either. So my thinking is we’ve got 3 sure in Eovaldi, Dunning and Gray and 2 ?’sThis is exactly what I was saying in preseason when others were getting upset at us acquiring too many starters and not addressing the bullpen.
And while we DEFINITELY should have addressed the bullpen, it wasn’t an either/or situation. You can never, ever, ever, ever have too many starting pitchers, especially when a few of the ones you have aren’t sure things, and we’re seeing that come to fruition now.
Odorizzi out for the year. deGrom out for the year. Perez proving he was a one-year wonder (and now unusable almost). Heaney proving to be very inconsistent and unreliable.
Our current rotation is Eovaldi, Gray, Dunning and then a question mark in Bradford and an even bigger question mark in Perez and Heaney. And that’s IF they all stay healthy from here until the playoffs… knock on wood.
They still need one more reliever and one more starter. Give me the Keller/Bednar combo from Pittsburgh, and see if the Cardinals will bite on Lowe + prospects for Goldschmidt.
White needs his shot in the rotation now, too.
Pretty awful when your SP is making the freaking Nationals look good.Bochy better get a couple up in the 2nd. Another homer down 6-0 in the 2nd
I think that is pretty much what I said but for now Bradford is a starter. If we can get two then great but Bradford to me is an upgrade to Perez and Heaney. This is Heaney as he can have a decent game but is very inconsistent.I’m not totally sold on Bradford and I don’t think the FO or manager are either.
