These things happen to every team, every season. It's the nature of baseball. I personally find it pointless to try and determine which particular event "wrecked" a season. Either the team was good enough to overcome adversity or it wasn't. Mistakes and bad games are 100% unavoidable and guaranteed to happen. all throughout a season.

I guess I understand how pinpointing a certain play or game can provide some sort of satisfaction, like the case was "solved," but since there's no way to prove it, and it doesn't change the fact that the team simply wasn't able to overcome adversity, it seems like a waste of time to hang a midseason slump on a single play or a single game.

I read the Cardinals regret letting Adolis go. I find it amazing that many on this board think every player should hit around 300. They are human and they will mess up.

Funny why I was for drafting Wyatt was his clutch hitting in the CWS. This is why I like Seager and liked Profar. Beltre was clutch

Also if the price is right I would not mind getting Bellinger although he might be streaky

To me this might be the issue wIith Sborz. He now needs to re build his confidence in big spots

I have done that on four occasions. It is a lot of fun. I have seen them win twice in Houston and once in Baltimore. I also saw them get beat soundly in Detroit.

I dropped my daughter off for college in New York in 2009. Rangers were in town. What were the odds of that? We went to one of the games where Kinsler hit 2 homers and Chris Davis 1 in a win. Was in San Diego a number of years ago and saw a game with Darvish pitching but he lost, and saw Sosa play as a rookie in Anaheim where I can’t remember how many years ago that was.

To be honest I would be shocked if the Angels even considered a trade to the Rangers and if they did the cost for a half season might be way too much.

If Moreno already knows there is zero chance of signing him between now and as a FA then he has to dump him by the deadline or he gets zilch.
I think the door is still open and Moreno will fork up the half billion or whatever it takes to keep him.

I can see Justin Foscue being shipped to the Tigers if a deal is made for one of their relievers. 3rd base is a real problem for them.
