Bush has been doing quite well when we actually have save situations.

However noticed he has not used his slider that much lately.

Jamey Newberg mentions this morning how both Uehara and O'Day had times where they struggled here and then pitched very well again after they left. It is really going to hurt when Dyson does that, but "that's how baseball go." I might add Benoit to Jamey's list as well.

Two years ago today...

I was there. That was a great game. I only went to about 4 games that year, but it seemed like everyone of them was an exciting game. I think they clinched a tie for the division in the game that Hamilton made that great catch against the wall later that year when i went. Then I saw a cycle in another game. One other game we saw the Rangers win by several runs. Then the next year I went to about a half dozen times and didn't see them win more than once.

I believe I read that Leclerc is coming up. Or was it Alvarez? It's one of these two anyway.

He did a pretty good job of wearing Jeffress out during the first 6 weeks, and I think it's contributed to his falloff of late.

LeClerc has been activated, and Sam Dyson has been designated for assignment.

Jeffress was not good before Banister had a chance to wear him out. He pitched 11 innings in April and allowed 17 baserunners. he allowed 6 ER and had an ERA of close to 5.00. I don't think it is really accurate to blame Banny for Jeffress not being any good this year.

I agree with that with the exception of the three guys involved in the three headed monster experiment in LF to start the season. I blame Banny for those guys starting off so badly.
