Don't know if you all have already been discussing this, but on MLB radio I heard a sound bite stating that Beltre would look great playing 3b in a Cards uniform...what a great move it would be for the Cards they said...apparently it was discussed this morning.

....hmmm, line up those pitchers, this would be an expensive proposition!!!

If he were to be traded it would be to an NL team. Don't think they would give up the pitching but it's what I'd be asking.
