It is interesting that Rua goes 6 for 10 when starting 3 out of 4 days in a row with 2 doubles and a HR and he is out of the lineup. Since his big game Hoying has went 1 for 12.

The last time Rua started 3 out of 4 days he went 4 for 11 with a double and a HR

This team, and or manager, has an odd way of handling younger/unproven players.

Just to keep it to a small sample size, Rua and Profar. Swear, it almost seems like we want to mess with their heads or rhythm for little to no reason at all. It's counter productive, and really doesn't seem to fit with what the franchise is all about, philosophy wise.

IMO, this season is a perfect time to find out if Rua can hit (both lefties & righties) and field at multi positions. We've never given this guy a real opportunity at the big league level.

Probably, Rua/Napoli/Deshields/Maz/Choo have all been playing well recently too... Gallo/Odor/Andrus not so much, though Rua could play 3B/2B but not likely at their expense, especially against a RHP

I like CJ a lot. And I say that as someone who is a much bigger stat head than he is.
