Ram's possibly interested in Akeem Ayers LB FA.

It's been reported that the rams are possibly interested in Akeem Ayers, mlb released from the Pats. Only 25 and dude is a biggin. I believe he posted a couple solid seasons in TN before being traded to the Pats. More suited for a 4-3 role. Thoughts guys?

Might be a good addition. Got a fresh new Superbowl ring he can show everyone as well. I was hoping we would have drafted back when but now is a good chance to snap him up and I am sure his cap hit will be held to a minimum.

Yeah but if he is signed what will he play? he's 6-3 255 so I would assume we would be running with JL, Ayers(if signed) and Olgetree. Nice young LB core so that would be pretty awesome.

I agree Jermaine. He'd probably be penciled in to take Dunbar's spot or alternate with Laurinaitus. Either way, our LB corp would improve even more.

I think he is versatile enough to play MLB but will probably takeover Dunbar's starting job.

At that size I would assume he would play the SAM with JL at MLB and Tree at WLB. He would come out when the Rams play the nickel.
