I think Bennett could be a good starter in a few years. Not great or anything but the dreaded solid game manager type.

Or at worst....a very high end backup.

Yep insiders have reported that the Rams want nothing to do with Bennett and he will never play for the Rams again. Pretty serious stuff but nobody knows why this dude went south and for what reasons. He is the only player in Rams history to be benched during a preseason game. Some sources have leaked that Bennett told McVay to go eff himself during that very game but that has not been confirmed.

Notebum is now stalemating the Rams and refusing to re-construct his present contract as the Rams want to bring him back on a lower salary and save $10 mil before June1. Dumbass Rams gave him that fat contract to begin with and painted themselves into the proverbial corner. The Rams are now decision-less because they want him to come back as an O-line multi-position back-up with commensurate salary.

Here is what they should do. Cut his injury-prone fat ass, save the $10 mil in cap space, and go get a couple really big and nasty guards in this 2024 draft which is loaded with good O-lineman.
