Yep that looks like what the Rams will do is trade for Zach Wilson. If they get Joe Milton in the draft, he'll be the third guy, a developmental QB. They may bring back Wentz but that is less definitive at this point. Mayfield is also a possibility, although he wants to be a starter. Maybe the Rams will convince Mayfield to sit for a year or two until Stafford is finally done.

The Rams are done with Bennett. Officially he will be released sometime before camp. It was a wasted pick. That is why they will either get Nix or the more likely scenario of Milton, say in the fifth or Sixth Round.

This is too funny. Sorry dude. It is a dog-eat-cat world in the NFL. Actually you may get the last laugh, DJ. Historically the Rams re-signing their own FAs with big money have backfired when said player gets his head too full of himself and the following year they suck or get perpetually injured.

I think Bennett could be a good starter in a few years. Not great or anything but the dreaded solid game manager type.

Or at worst....a very high end backup.
