Can't this year, he counts too much against the cap. But next year, he counts 2/3 less.

For at least OL, this is pretty much guaranteed. We have two positions (LT and C) that are manned by players known to be bridges at best due to age or injuries, and only brought in UDFAs to address that. The odds on UDFAs being the answer is pretty slim.

At WR, the only need would potentially be for a true #1, but between Woods, Cupp, Reynolds, and last year's picks there is plenty of talent to go around for the rest of the WR corps (2-6 or 7) and should actually provide for a very interesting competition in camp. At some point, the Rams need to let this group develop and find out what they already have.

From what I've read, he's not smart enough to play Guard. (Reading between the lines when they say Havenstein is really 'smart' and that's why they are moving him to Guard) So it been reported that GRob will be asked to play RT. Still to your point, GRob needs to figure out how to play LT!

That's pretty frightening!!! So he has poor technique and he's stupid. That's on top of the lack of personality we saw from him during Hard Knocks... I personally don't really want him at RT, I just don't like the way he plays outside...I thought by "containing" him inside might actually help him, so much for that...

Yeah, they were saying that McVay's offense is pretty complicated at the Guard spots so they need someone who is bright and can pick up all the variances required of the position.

I understand what you're saying, but really, just HOW complicated should it be for a guy who was drafted #2 overall??? The more I hear about this guy, the more I dislike about him...

Hey, maybe the Rams can snag one of the guys they should've drafted (Sammy Watkins) away from the Bills next year, since they didn't pick up his 5th year option.

He's been about as healthy as Alshon Jeffery, who got $9.5M. Similarly productive (targeted less, but more TDs with his stats extended over 5 years like Jeffery).

Well, apparently as of now we aren't favored to win a single one of our games this coming season... However, at least it's not just us, the Browns are in the same club.... Not that its any consolation of course, in fact that makes it MUCH worse!!!...
