agreed. and as i said on the "stretch" thread i'm not just going to count this as a win. we have to go to Oakland and take it if we want it. i'll say this about them, they haven't won a game yet, but they've played pretty competitive in a lot of them i've seen...

Hmm, off topic, but kind of interesting to see the Titans beating the Steelers right now 17-13 and not looking half bad in the process with Mettenberger. Could give us a little more ammo for the playoff chase if the Titans pull this off.

Welp, they just made things harder on themselves. Shitty 1st half and defensive breakdowns on the last drive. In reality I still don't buy they're a better team than last year. At least they still have it in their hands to tie Denver with a big effort next week, but this was very disappointing, short week or not both teams had it. They really need Avery/Jenkins to play from here out, they have no receivers basically.

This game I blame the playcalling in the first half. Usually, I see them trying to go deeper but Smith checks down. This game, I didn't see that. They acted like the Raiders, albeit having Mack, were the bills or Seattle. I saw Charles appear to try to go down in bounds in the last minute of the first half. That tells me they weren't trying to score, they were just trying to get to halftime. I am okay with conservative play calls, but you have to try to get out of bounds. You have to keep trying to get more plays, even if they're conservative plays. That bugs the hell out of me. They didn't call timeout to get one more punt return.
