0-0 first Quarter. We've already had a big drive ended by a fumble. McGloin actually looks pretty sharp.

I just saw McGloin had 178 passing yards in the first half. Considering how awful that pass game was last year, I do think that says something about O'Brien's ability as a QB developer.

I don't know. Tettleton's mobile enough that rolling out is a great option. If receivers are wide open, pass it. If not, run it for a few yards. It seems to be working well.

This game changed completely at 14-3. PSU was given a free interception on third down and the guy just dropped the ball right into the Ohio receiver, who ran 30 yards for the TD. The game has done a 180 since then.

True enough, that deflected pass turned the entire thing around. We had an early fumble deep in their end, too. Mistakes hurt us, and we kept moving the ball, then getting bogged down. 24-14 now, looks like game over.

While Ohio is a quality team I saw a few things that need locked down. The first being minimizing the turn overs. The rest I'm not sure we can do much about this season but one can always hope... We need to figure out how to get our running game going and how to stop the pass. Belton didn't overly impress me as a running back and the guy behind him even less so. One of those guys really needs to step it up and become a work horse to take the pressure off of our seeming reliance on the passing game this year. Quite frankly I never thought I'd have to worry about a Penn State running attack so this is entirely new territory.

McGloin started out looking very sharp but in the second half when he was feeling the pressure of needing to score some points he seemed to take a few steps back development wise. He is still miles ahead of where he was last season and I'm sure our coaches will actually coach him through this but it was a little scary to see.

Well, here's my observation from section NFU, row 84. McGloin had some nice numbers in the first half, but missed 2 WIDE open guys for TD's. 1 just before Belton fumble, he had a WR running in the clear and never looked his way and then he overthrew a wide open Carter later. He also missed Kersey running free for a sure TD late. He looked good overall in 1st half, but looked bad in 2nd.

WTF is up with Hdges returning punts/kicks? We gave them that first FG and they scored on that ridiculous deflection (that is what took the air out of us....after that play, we were dead)

defense, we need to disguise or fake more blitzes against better QB's. Tettleton picked up everything in second half and killed us with quick slant. DL was disappointing in 2nd half as well.

Overall, I can still see this team doing well if they clean things up a little. Frustrating game though, we should have been up 28-0 at half

ESPN broadcast the singing of the alma mater. Was the entire stadium arm-in-arm during the alma mater, or just certain sections? That was very moving to see.

I know my section wasn't, I didn't even notice it to be honest. Did they show anything on TV with Franco?? He has a suite there and had a big JoePa cardboard cutout standing next to him the entire game.He put a sign in his has towards the end that read no due process for JoePa or PSU

They showed him at least once when talking about where the Paternos were for the game and how Sue spent most of her time in his box.
