Can't wait for kickoff. Will be interesting to see how we attack Iowa. They've played rope-a-dope on us for years under Joe, hopefully we are very aggressive and make them counter instead of sitting around waiting for our super conservative approach to backfire on us.

It should be a good game but it will be a lot more difficult with Weisman most likely sitting on the bench. Garmon is good but I think that he needed a redshirt year to put on 5-10# of muscle and get used to the college game. Our defense is going to have to carry us this week. I hope they're up to the challenge.

D was great, but need to work on that kick coverage, or better yet, get touchbacks.

Disappointed in Zach coughing up the ball twice - the score would have been a lot worse without those.

Overall we played great. Belton looked good, McGloin looked great, and our defense was terrific. Zwinak made some mistakes in fumbling the ball that thankfully didn't hurt. Ficken made a field goal, then missed one, but he still made a field goal and all of his extra points!

Great gameplan and execution for 3 quarters. Got sloppy in 4th when it was out of hand. Belton finally looked healthy again and was much more decisive on his runs. I didn't have much of a problem with zach's second fumble, but the first there's no excuse for. If he is going to make a mistake I'd rather it happen in a blowout than a close one. McGloin looks like a completely different QB and improves every week. This coaching staff is simply amazing. Can't wait to see what BOB can do with arguably the top QB recruit in nation and top TE in nation when he's turned a walk on and 2 star at those positions into all big 10 players and gotten Carter on the Mackey watch list. This team keeps playing the way it is, recruiting gets easier. Running a very effective pro style system on both sides and having big time NFL connections with scouts at almost every practice can't hurt. Supposed to be 80-100 recruits including sophmore and juniors along with the current class at next week's game. Can't beat the atmosphere for an evening/night game there.
