I think we can safely say he's the best hitter on the team, maybe not by a ton, but a star is born. The kid has arrived . Maybe the most important reason why the team is killing it without Pence (especially), Panik or Duffy.

Fun watching him come into his promise this year.

Yea, Belt and Pagan hitting has really helped soften the blow of all the injuries. I am crossing my fingers Belt makes it through the whole season without having to miss significant time due to injury. Hopefully, some of these guys get back after the all star break. My son and I are going to the game this Sunday against the Dbacks. Might be watching a bunch of minor leaguers. Would be cool if Bumgardner pitches though

Its nice to see Belt really do well this year. And to think, some people wanted Joaquin Arias starting over him.

Did someone actually say that?

At one point I think in 2012, Arias was peaking and HanRam was having a bad year, and tzill became convinced for a moment that Arias was just as valuable. We gave him endless grief and he finally realized not so much.

cal's just yanking his chain. Which is weird because we are all his alts.

Thinks. I missed that (it was during my years in the desert).

And there it is. Two things we will never forget:

1. The Holocaust
2. The HanRam/Arias argument.

Well played.

The historical context is everything my man. Shit got real for a couple minutes there.
