I tend to blame the players but the fact is, players are managed their whole lives. If they lose confidence in the manager, it's a very real thing -- hard to define or pin down -- but it's real. It's in the mindset. If they don't believe they can win, they won't. How much of that is on the manager? Players grow up looking at their coaches as father figures, very smart people.Even if the win-loss record is irrelevant in judging Bryan Price, the poor fundamentals this team exhibited with zero accountability from the dugout justifies his firing.
