Game Thread: Preseason v. SF

I got replay just need the time to watch .. I knew he made plays just like impact is all .. hoping he starts to shine that way in taking over a game ..

Well especially against Seattle he caused Christine Michael to fumble while also recording a sack. That right there is 2 major impact plays on defense. Against Houston he wasn't quite as impactful as he did get hurt a bit but he still had I think 3 QB Hurries in that game and 1 QB hit. He didn't get home but those type of things still cause an impact.

I guess what is your definition of impact then? For me him having those type of plays already in the preseason is showing that he can definitely be an impact guy. What do you need to see to think of him like that?

Ok - we should see Peyton Manning running this team until the mid-third quarter. The Broncos offense and Peyton Manning need to show they can score TDs - and make short yardage.

It will be great to see Danny Trevathan and Brandon Marshall patrolling the middle together for the first time.

McManus - needs to man up to his new job like a pro.

Sambraillo needs to continue to show improvement.

Casey needs to catch the pass they throw to him this time.

Green needs to show he is ready for the season.

Cody Latimer - needs to make some plays while Sanders is out.

Yes, I'm worried about this Manning fellow. He hasn't ever proven to be able to score TDs!

I'd be perfectly happy to follow the Packers blueprint and not play Peyton at all tonight.

If this was game 3 last yr OZ would be lucky to see a snap till 2nd series in 3rd. But with Kubiak and OZ emergence/future stuff and the injures lately, I don't see Manning past the half. If Denver score on their first 2 possessions he will prob be done also. Really like to see Brock go against starters as long as possible myself.

If they can move the ball well in the first half, then I'm all for Manning sitting after halftime. Seeing as how this is his last tune up though before the regular season, I hope Kubiak leaves him in long enough to get some mojo going. Don't get me wrong, I'm more and more intrigued to see what Oz can bring every game, but Manning needs to have all systems go in two weeks, and it'd be nice to see some of it tonight.
