Preseason Game 1: Saints vs Patriots

Collins returns an INT for 40 yards and a TD White scores on a 2 point conversion. 8-0 Pats.

Pats punt. Saints fumble it. Returner picks it up and the Pats special teams blow coverage and give up a 55 yard return. 4 plays later the Saints score and get the 2 point PAT. 8-8.

JG is not playing well to start. Low passes, bad position of the passes to the sideline. Sacked on the first series because he just waited so long to get rid of the ball.

Defense is playing extremely well. Offense not so good.

Saints are 1st and Goal.

Coleman has been beaten twice for huge gains on the sideline. He had the exact same problem last year. For some reason he can't get into position to defend anything and the WR take his lunch money.

JG is 10 for 17 for 160 yards. Mitchell is going to crack the starting line up. He will replace Amendola.
He's 6'1" and has great hands and will run after the catch.

JG to Mitchell for 8 and a 1st down. Bad hold on Mitchell and he's out hurt.

Bolden takes around the left for 24 yards.

4th and 3 ............JG hits White perfectly in the end zone and the Saints defender pulls it out.
White should have held on to it.

Garrapolo started to really improve as the game got going. He really got the offense moving,

Malcolm Mitchell was just great. Catch after catch.
Bad hold on the play where he got hurt. Can only hope
it's not serious, but he was holding his arm or shoulder when he
left the field.

Defense is deep and really good. Coleman got torched twice but made a great play
before the Patriots got the ball for the last series.

Saints QB is McNown and he's been around for 14 years. He's perfect for these guys to play against.

Still a bit over 80 degrees on the field.
