SEC:

West
Alabama: 12-0
Auburn: 9-3
LSU: 9-3
Texas A&M: 9-3
Ole Miss: 8-4
Miss St: 5-7
Arkansas: 3-9

East
Mizzou: 10-2
Georgia: 9-3
South Carolina: 9-3
Vandy: 8-4
Florida: 5-7
Tennessee: 4-8
Kentucky: 3-9

Who is Mizzou getting that 2nd loss from? A&M.

SECCG: Alabama over Mizzou. Mizzou, South Carolina and Georgia will all have 2 conference losses, South Carolina has win over Mizzou, but Georgia has win over South Carolina, and Mizzou has win over Georgia. But Mizzou will have highest BCS rank and go.

You have the tie breaker way wrong. BCS rank doesn't come in until several others. In the scenario you mention, Mizzou goes. First tie breaker is the records of the tied teams ... all are 1-1 against each other. Second tie breaker is the record in the Division. Mizzou wins with only one SEC East loss. Mizzou to Atlanta.

If UGa loses to Auburn, and Mizzou loses one game, USCe wins due to head to head record.

If UGa wins at Auburn and Ky, USCe wins against UF, and Mizzou loses 2, then UGa goes as it owns the head to head against USCe.

Perspectives:
Mizzou - (1) win out, or (2) lose one, and UGa has to beat Auburn and Ky for a 3 way tie.
UGa - (1) win out, and Mizzou loses twice
USCe - (1) win out, and UGa loses to Auburn or Ky, and Mizzou loses 1

Kind of an interesting scenario, especially because I don't see Mizzou winning both of those games.

SEC:

West
Alabama: 12-0
Auburn: 9-3
LSU: 9-3 LSU's defense sucks, so I think the only way they beat A&M is if they just simply outscore them.
Texas A&M: 9-3
Ole Miss: 8-4
Miss St: 5-7
Arkansas: 3-9

East
Mizzou: 10-2 Believe it or not, Ole Miss is a hard place to play.
Georgia: 9-3 definitely don't see them winning out.
South Carolina: 9-3 I don't see S. Carolina losing to Clemson.
Vandy: 8-4
Florida: 5-7
Tennessee: 4-8
Kentucky: 3-9

So is the South Carolina/Clemson game mostly meaningless?

Yep, I didn't realize they did an "in division" tie breaker first. Thanks!

About as meaningless as Kansas/Missouri.

Clemson could still get into a BCS game if they win out. Carolina could make it an unprecedented five straight over the Tigers with a win.

Oh, and there's the hate. Looootttttt's of hate.

USCe is my favorite to win the SEC East ... they beat UF (highly probable), Missouri loses 1 of 2 (probable in my mind), and Auburn beats UGa (50/50 at worst, as much as I hate to admit it). If that is the case, they will want to go into Atlanta on a winning note, not losing to Clempson.

Mizzou is going to win out. Ole Miss isn't ready for the depth and speed of Missouri right now. We have a bye week and JF is back.

A&M's defense is awful….and I know Manziel is really good but its a great match up for Mizzou this year. A&M can't stop Mizzou and we force turnovers…which Manziel has been throwing a lot of INT's

I like the way you think, but I just don't see ASU losing 2 or their last 3. Their last 3 aren't gimme's, but 2 of them are at home.

Auburn is too one dimensional to beat Georgia IMO. Auburn best A&M since they can't stop the run to save their lives. If Georgia can load the box and limit the RB production and contain Marshall they should be able to win (like LSU) as I see Gurley going for about 200.

That's the problem....Georgia can't stop the run.

23rd in the country in rushing defense. 86th in passing D. It's the passing defense that blows this year.

Granted, we are young, lost a ton of NFL talent, and I am not sold on our DC in any way. But, we have a much better shot at a running team than we do a passing team.

i won't be surprised if auburn loses to georgia, but i think it's unfair to call auburn one dimensional. they haven't thrown the ball because they haven't needed to lately. when they needed big throws against mississippi state and ole miss, they had them. if you are averaging 8 yards a carry, why even try to throw the ball?

fwiw, i have no idea if auburn is truly one dimensional or not, but i think saying they are one dimensional based on the fact that they haven't thrown the ball much is a bit unfair.

Rushing yards given up to BCS opps.

Clemson - 197

S. Carolina - 226

LSU - 77 The only team held under 100.

Tennessee- 238

Mizzou - 142

Vandy - 119

Florida - 145

IMO, over a hundred yards isn't stopping the run.

UGA has given up 189 rushing yards to Auburn before the half.
