I usually put in for vacation days on Thursday/Friday but we're so backed up that I'll probably just put in for Friday

No sick days yet this year.

And I don't talk to my boss worth sh@t so he doesn't know I follow basketball!

I'm not one who usually does such things, but we'll see what happens this year.

The first two days are always the best. After that things slow down a little, but I usually take those days off and that's all I can afford to do.

This is my first year out of school. It's probably going to be a little tougher skipping work to watch than skipping class lol. I've got to come up with some ideas, I only get 5 sick days, I doubt I can afford to use them for the tournament :/

When I was in school it always coincided with my spring break which was AWE-SOME.

I used to take a half-day on that Thursday, every year. Would either take a vacation day or call in sick that Friday - which was sometimes true, as I was hung over on occasion. Haven't done it for a while now, but I do have the scoreboard up on my work terminal on those two days.

Yeah, the thursday-friday games we had class and then that next week we were off. I would listen to games on the radio on my way back to school after spring break. But yeah, it was definitely nice having spring break during the back half of the tournament.

When my sister was in 5th grade, her teacher set a TV up in the classroom and had the games on all day the first two days of the tournament. He came up with (somewhat) school related activities that related subjects to basketball, but pretty much they just watched the games.

My 5th grade teacher was a like 68 year old woman who had absolutely no interest in basketball so we didn't get to watch :pout:
