It will depend on these last two games imo. If he plays well and leads us to victory over two highly ranked teams, I would say he gets an invite. No way he wins though, we just aren't flashy enough.

He isn't the reason Bama is winning. He is just along for the ride. He isn't Heisman worthy. He doesn't mean as much and hasn't done as much as Lynch, Carr, etc.

2) Jordan Lynch - (3852 total yards - 2418 passing, 1434 rushing; 38 total tds; only 5 ints; leads his team in passing, rushing, and tds, and his team is 10-0)
3) Derek Carr - (3948 passing yds; 41 total tds; only 4 ints; team is 10-0)
4) johnnyhollywood - (4148 total yds which is great; 40 tds which is great; but 14 turnovers and 15 sacks; no signature win paired with 3 losses; great talent but he's not protecting the ball and they are losing)
5) Teddy Bridgewater - (3288 total yards; 25 tds; only 3 ints)

Bama fans will not be happy that you left off McCarron.

You are correct. Not that he should win but to not include him and include all these non AQ QB's tells me something. You are certainly entitled to your opinion but when Alabama plays the type teams Northern Illinois plays, AJ plays about a half, while Lynch the entire game.

Like it or not being the #1 pass efficiency leader last year and top 10 throughout his career along with going for national championship #3 in a row, means something. Teams don't do that without a great QB. Maybe 1 year but not 3. As for your AJ and Lynch comparison:

McCarron #10 passing efficiency #10 Total QBR 2400 yards passing(8.7 ypc) 23 passing TD's 5 INT
#1 ranked team(much tougher competition) target on back every week 2012 #1 pass efficiency leader

Lynch #25 passing efficiency #39 Total QR 2418 yards passing(7.8 ypc) 21 passing TD's 5 INT

In regards to rushing AJ knows how to find the safety guy, usually a short screen, who is usually a RB that does a better job running then Lynch. In other words he uses his weapons.

Heisman list:
Jameis Winston - ** will be a shame if he is charged.

AJ McCarron - You HAVE to look at what a player does and doesn't do(he does NOT lose games like others). It is NOT all about statistics. Some teams don't play the same competition which can skew rushing yards, passing yards and receiving yards. Yards per carry or yards per completion is important.

Bishop Sankey - sets up everything for the Huskies who are having a nice comeback year!

Marcus Mariota - still one of the best. Been crippled but still out there fighting!

Johnny Manziel - still the most explosive and scary player in the country with no defense to help.

CJ Mosely - A beast! If the player stays on the field he'll get him! Damn where are all the defensive players someone always pushes every year?

If 8-3 without a single ranked win = success, then my Longhorns are having a monster year.:laugh3:

You're right. A number of QBs in the country would rip up Alabama for 42 points, 562 yards of offense and 5 TDs.

McCarron shouldn't be invited. Period. This isn't a career award.

No single player on Bama's team is the reason they are winning. Everybody is just along for the ride...:yahoo:

McCarron makes a lot of big throws for that team.

Don't care. The HT is an individual award in a team sport, and I've personally never cared for it.

IMO, only national championship trophies for teams matter.

Sure do and I can name 3 in the B1G that are better than Mosley. You ever watch anything besides the SEC?

Want to make any kind of wager Mosely makes FIRST TEAM ALL AMERICAN? Don't know about your great linebackers and your OPINION! You obviously don't get out much. Next!
