I'm just wondering which Conf Champ our 1-10 team will knock out for the final
Playoff Berth...Big10, Big12 or PAC12.

I argued most of the summer, that you cannot have a legit playoff system using
human polls/opinions.

They are bias and smell of lack of knowledge.

Everybody is always concerned about finding out who the true #2 is. A Playoff is designed
to find the true #1 and nothing else. Allowing only the Conf Champs, all of them, is the
only way to determine the TRUE #1.

Nah, man. We had the debate during the summer about the playoffs. That was my
position then and remains that way today.

FSU being 0-2 and ranked brings credence to that stance.

A Playoff is an elimination process ending when only 1 team hasn't been beaten.

The first step is the elimination of the bulk of the teams. That is done thru the League
Championships. Whomever is the champion of a league has proven they are better than
the rest...they move on. everybody else, with merit can go to a bowl game.

It's an interesting concept that settles everything on the field and nothing in a backroom.
