Spurs are quiet the machine. Have been ruling the West for a decade with the same group of guys, never seem to get hurt, never play too high or too low. Absolutely impressive and amazing what Pop has done with the same core group for this long. They never seem to age, but I feel like they've been in the league for 15 years.

They're like the New England Patriots of the NBA (minus the murders).

They even have a coach who hates dealing with the media like the Patriots.

Teams, especially those in what are considered "smaller markets", could do a whole lot worse than following the Spurs blueprint.

They're already running a similar offense to the Spurs and have a head coach that was Popovich's assistant coach. I would love to see Atlanta become the Spurs of the East. They even have a GM with more than half a brain now (also came from the Spurs when we got him).
