Last couple of years you couldn't talk about Texas (A&M) Football without mentioning JFF - same could be said about McCoy a few years back.
Won a bunch of games
Broke a bunch of records
Highly regarded by alumni and fans
I never liked Texas but I had a lot of respect for what McCoy could do. (Refer to shootout at Kyle Field in 2010 where McCoy, very Manziel-like, ran 50+ yards for a TD.)
VY and McCoy didn't have a lot of NFL success but neither did JJ or McGee...Tanny could do better.

No matter how much you hate the horns, you have to respect a guy like that. Bradford and McCoy had quite the rivalry going but they always had mad respect for one another. Both of those guys did it right, and neither were the attention whores that Manziel or even Tebow were.

Been my screen name since CBS in 07. If I could change it I would. Regardless, I don't pull up old sip threads and rarely comment in sip threads and have actually transformed my point of view over the last three years from hating Texas University to not really giving two shits to wishing them well. Ending the rivalry can be beneficial to both programs as well as the state. There are actually some pretty good Texas fans on this site. A couple came from CBS.

So yes, when I see a Texas fan dragging up old Aggie I'll call that an obsessed tea sipper.

He beat Oklahoma and won his first 3 bowl games.


He left as the all time winner in NCAA football (including 1 FCS team in his 4 years)


It just sucks that a flukish injury did not let him get the biggest win.
