I will move any thread that turns into a political debate to the political forum. Politics bring out the worse in folks, think that’s obvious. The reason the PF was formed was to contain all matter related to politics. The present owner of the site concurs as well as the staff.
Let’s try to keep to football here. Leaves a lot of room for debate.

All mods in the other forums are doing the same. Be it the water cooler, NBA general, College football or what have you, all political threads are being moved to the PF. The PF mods aren’t to thrilled with basically similar threads over running their forum, but that’s life.
