What does the horseshoe stand for?
There are a few stories about the horseshoe dating back to the 1970's. The story that I've heard about its origin dates back to the construction of Memorial Stadium in 1923. It was found in the dirt at the location where the stadium was to be built and so it became part of the history of the stadium. I don't know if it's completely true or not because the story behind the horseshoe has kind of faded into obscurity. It's just something that has always been there.
That must have been one big ass horse.
That horseshoe must have been hanging upside down the past decade.
Looked it up myself. Pretty cool.
I didn't know that place existed. I always see Frontier City off the interstate when I'm down in OKC.

We had Playland Park in Council Bluffs, Ia and Peony Park in Omaha when I was a kid. My dad used to take us to Playland to watch the car races and to ride the rides. Demolition Derby's were my favorite. The amusement park and speedway closed in 1977.

Omaha had Peony Park with a roller coaster, haunted house, other rides and a 4.5 acre beach type pool. Used to go there with my buddies in my early teens. It closed in 1994.

Went to Springlake every week when I was a kid.
It closed in 1976. It was a blast.
