This. They see the writing on the wall and that they won't be getting playing time so they leave. Looking at what Damon Benning said about being more leaving, sounds like would be seniors so wouldn't open up anymore scholarships for this next recruiting class

Can't afford to lose a single WR now. 7 is far from ideal. Tyjon definitely gonna play.

There was bound to be some #'s problems moving to the knew defense however LB I didn't think would be one of them, one would think we would need as many LBs that we have room for idk

Sounds like it's not about the pot. Maybe more about taking it seriou. I have to wonder if riding the bench would of worked better though.

Not sure what he will be doing this coming year but if his dad put his education on hold because of football I don't agree with that.

Of course my thoughts are just speculations, not knowing a damn thing about what really went down.

yea, it seemed to me you could have left him in school, redshirting and working here, not bringing him back to LA.

well, he has a RS year available. with our lack of depth, he could have possibly played in the fall, but a lot of people had said he needed a RS year

Simmons was a big time recruit. Tough loss.

Hopefully, he gets a scholarship to one of the other schools that recruited him and/or one back in Florida. Best of luck to him.

My guess, he saw Avery Roberts ahead of him and decided it was time to go.

Not that big time of a recruit, he was a mid level 3-star player that was 31st for position and 771 overall.

Can't blame him for leaving though. Sounded like he was buried in depth chart and wouldn't be playing much except special teams

i think Sr is doing the right thing. tough love is hard and I respect him for it.

but there is a part of me that is wondering if Sr. is worried that Jr. will embarrass the Keyshawn name if he isn't taking it seriously.

Not THAT big. Gotta weed out the ones who aren't self motivated.
