I've never played...

When you have a defense selected for your matchup, do all the points the other team scores count against you? Or does your defense not get penalized when the other team scores a defensive or special teams TD? Do pick 6s count against your defense?

no. pick 6's dont count against the defense.

How about punt and kickoff return TDs?

Generally speaking, as league rules vary by league, the base points are based on how many your defense gives up. Generally 0 is best, then they're grouped 1-6, 7-13, and so on... Then you also get points for sacks, interceptions and TDs your defense/special teams score. They should post the scoring rules.

Chargers DST scored -1 and -3 in my standard scoring leagues tonight. Raiders DST scored 29.

They scored 187 in my money league. Above their average and the league average. Raiders scored 235.

Every league is different. In my league you get points (or deducted points) based on how many points are given up, and how many yards are given up. You get 1 point for a sack, 2 points for a turnover, 6 points for a defensive or return TD, 2 points for a FG block, 2 pts for a safety.

I have never played in a league where this is the case. So that is interesting (& wrong LOL)
