It was time, plain and simple. The team was just not going anywhere with Pete anymore. Had a good run and time to move on. Now the big talking point about Quinn, ffs, no. It's time for a change of direction, not trying to hold on to the L.O.B. glory days. Also the reason Pete had to go was he was a defensive coach with a shitty defense. Guess what, as good of a D.C. as Quinn is, he was the same thing in Atlanta. Defensive H.C. with a shitty defense. We need a fresh start. Not sure who that is but I would prefer an offensive mind who can bring in a good D.C. and let him run the defense.
The second part of all of this is some tough decisions have to be made. Gonna have to eat some dead cap and dump some guys who are under-performing as well as having a couple of cap casualties. We need the QB of the future but picking 16, we are gonna have slim pickings more than likely.
