Picked up with where S4 left off. Team was on the run. Reese gets away and finds Finch convincing him to retreat to subway station making Root fend for herself. Her identity is blown but they get her back and build a new machine with PS3's

Fusco is questioned about Dominic and Elias(nah) deaths. The FBI wraps it up as Fusco was justified in killing them. Fusco knows a sniper took them out and wants to know what's going on. Reese and finch tell him to drop it and stop putting himself in harms way. He ain't dropping it.

Just watched the first of the two episodes from Tuesday night. Thought it was definitely well done. I can certainly understand why Fusco would be pissed off at everyone. Also, the radio host was an idiot for blurting out about the code and deserved what he got, especially since Root and Reese warned him not to.

Really enjoyed the last episode. Loved what Elias did at the end.

Oh and definitely am enjoying the intertwined opening with both Finch and Greer.

They are really foreshadowing Finch being a bad guy. Are they going to pull a big switcharoo in the finale and Samaratan the good computer? Or have the machine turn on Team Finch and join up with Samaratan?

Something is definitely going on there.

Yeah it kept getting heavily implied. Cool tie in thinking about the premeire now. That opening voice over wasn't root talking but the machine with her voice. Plageman and Nolan are great at actually having a reason for what they write.

Root was never gonna survive though. Of our main 5 she's was a lock to die being the one true "villian" at one point.

Fusco and 1 of Reese or Finch will probably live. Maybe shaw.

Just the timing was interesting... They finally got Shaw back(despite she not being convinced she is back)... Will the loss of Root make shaw go a little crazy??

In her simulations, she killed everyone EXCEPT Root. She is convinced, I think, that she is in the real world at this point.

Basically right away Root rescues him in a totally over-the-top gun battle and Root dies, which pushes him to use the machine in a potentially immoral way, thus proving that man needs to be separated from decision making.

I was thinking something similar but more that the whole show was a simulation to see whether or not finch should activate the original system...
