I like it. I believe there is only 7 million guaranteed.

It's a pretty good deal if only $7 mill are guaranteed. Peppers may be getting long in the tooth, but if he's not used as an every down player, he could still be effective. I can't believe Peppers signed for so cheap unless he realizes he's made enough money in the NFL and now just wants a shot at a ring.

At first I was going to puke when I saw the initial numbers 3 years 30 million. Now that more details are coming out its actually a good deal. Very incentive layered with 7.5 guaranteed. At 34 I have my reservations on what he has left but if he is maybe in a rotation and can stay fresh he could still be a very good pass rusher opposite Clay. Now....is TT done or does he have more tricks up his sleeve?

This was the guy all the TT haters wanted so they finally got what they wanted, maybe they can shut up for awhile

I wanted the Bears to sign him back. While he may not be the sack machine he used to be, he is still a very very good DE in the NFL.

Peppers is as good as the interior lineman are. Bears interior linemen were terrible last year. When Ratliff finally got acclimated to the system peppers played better. The man is a freak, and with dead bear money he is still gonna make 17 million this season. The taking plays off, yeah, it happens and you will be fine with it if he is getting pressures and tackles on a dozen or so other plays.

Nothing like adding to the rivalry.

Good signing given not a lot of guaranteed money. Peppers is obviously getting older, injury problems and concerns about his motor. Good situational pass rusher, I like it

I still want to draft Ra'Shede Hageman @ 21 (if Mosley and HaHa are gone)

If he has something left in the tank it is a good signing.. being situational rusher may help the tank.

He nothing left in tank, then another Saturday signing.

AT least will not impact comp. picks if Packers unrestricted free agents sign elsewhere and count towards the formula next year.

Great signing! Keep in mind age is just a number. Reggie White came to GB at 32 and gave us 6 productive years. Because he was released he will not count against any compensatory picks. Imagine a front 5 of Matthews, Peppers, Raji, Jones, and Perry. If healthy all year it could be scary good for pass rushing

Peppers is also responsible in the run game too

^Great points.

This is a win x3. The deal is fantastic for such a productive player that still commands a lot of attention. Peppers have been very good against the Vikings and Lions in recent season and he's been even better playing against us...which no longer happens while he's wearing green and gold.
