Wow. The Sabres completely botched a 3-on-1, then immediately gave up a goal to Bortuzzo. Each of those things independently is pathetic, and they did them all at once.

This is one of those games where I don't care if the refs side with the Sabres the rest of the way. I just want to see Hornqvist and/or Letang get hat tricks.

I was thinking along those lines too. The Sabres would play well for a while, blow some chances and then give up a goal. That was very similar to early 2000s Pens.

Overall, we had another good week to go 3-0. Got great goaltending against the Wild, survived a good scare against the Jets, and completely dominated the Sabres. 7 in a row bagy!
