How do Flyers fans feel about Sam Carchidi? He's the guy who did the whole "Crosby passed baton to Giroux as best player in world" tweet. He semi-mocked himself last night about it...but looking through some of his other tweets he seems worse than freaking Kovacevic.

He is pretty meh, but so is basically everyone in the Philadelphia media not named Bill Meltzer

Our D is going to be pretty great soon. That said, I tend to wonder what exactly they're gonna do with all the offensive minded Dmen. Still...so much talent in the organization. PUMPED.

Yeah, just wish we could find a way to inject Despres in the lineup. Saw lots of good things from him last season. Would be unfortunate to let him go.

Yeah, just wish we could find a way to inject Despres in the lineup. Saw lots of good things from him last season. Would be unfortunate to let him go.

Pretty sure he's done with the Pens...and that they sort of ruined his trade value by making him a 7th D all year and not getting real play time.

Hahaha, Lavvy called him the best player in the world, but Carchidi said something like "I'm pretty sure we just saw Crosby pass the baton to Giroux as the best player in the world, on national TV."

Last night he said "With *insert points Sid has had in Philly in past few years* Giroux passed that baton back to Crosby." I laughed.

oh he definitely was.. the philly media is atrocious.. like 4706 said, the only saving grace is meltzer.. and he's probably the best hockey blogger i've ever read, so that makes up for it.
