Agree with that. Vernon Davis presents similar problems as Tony G, too (though we did a good job of defending him in half 2).

We're up to 128 yards rushing. JStew 9 for 43 yards.

Yeah, we were getting across midfield, then either stalling out or turning it over. Throwing a little more than we should in half 1, maybe, but the general pattern has been to get it going on the ground in the second half.

Panthers running game is potent with Williams, Stewart, and Tolbert. Makes a big difference having Jonathan back!

We needed that kind of win. We did not play well the first 3 quarters and pulled ahead late. Still not showing we can come from behind but we can grind it out for most of a game. Big Kuddos to the defense. 3 INT's and a pick 6. And you have to love the offense telling the special teams to get off the field so they can go for 1 more TD when we are winning by 21. And FINALLY we got some help from another team. WAY TO GO JETS. Now we have to get ready for SF.

BTW did anyone else get the feeling the announcers were not ready for this game? Couple of quotes, "In their last meeting the Falcons sacked Matt Ryan 7 times" and on a defensive penalty on #59 for Atlanta, "I think they got Luke Kuechley..."

Totally agree, however Billick is good luck for us. I believe he has done 3 of our 5 wins

I'm concerned about o-line injuries and T Davis.

Happy to see Stewart back. He looked pretty good. I think he is better at breaking tackles and will have fresh legs for a second half push

Exactly. Bout time we got balls bouncing our way. That situation with Lafell reminded me of the Seattle game for a second (though we were down a score, there), where Dwill put it on the ground. That play by Davis on the INT off the deflection was highlight material.

Bold: we're definitely thin, there, and wasn't enouraging to see them looking at Scott's Knee.
