Also Beardown likes Pace for dysfunctional reasons: Beardown thinks signing Glennon was a good move and that his contract is great for the team. I like Pace *despite* the horrendous signing of Glennon.

BS. Pace got extended because he did well in the draft and he probably communicates well with management. To say no HC would come here if Pace didn't get an extension is ridiculous.

Oh come on. Coordinators do not turn down promotions to be head coaches in the NFL because they think they'll be set up to fail. Any coordinator worth anything will go into all promotions thinking they'll succeed because they believe in themselves.

So if we didn't extend Pace, nobody would take the HC offer? NOBODY? Save the hyperboles for richi, he loves them.

A new coach would be afraid a new GM next year, would want his own guy. If a coach has more then one offer he will go with the most stable opportunity. We are competing for a coach, we are not the only opening.
