Bruce Feldman just tweeted that reports of Taggart and FSU are inaccurate and no meeting has taken place
Wait, are you telling me that 'sources' might be wrong?

Taggart has a 47-50 coaching record. Can't FSU find someone that is a better coach? Isn't there some good college football coaches out there, that don't have a job?

i think they are going more on the 2-10 to 7-5 in 3 years and 2-10 to 10-2 in 4 years and 4-8 to 7-5 potentially 8-5 in 2 years part of the record.

*and look at his recruiting class in his first full year at a remote school in the NW and all those very high level florida kids following him like the pied piper.

You bet FSU wants a HC that can bring in those high value in state kids.

Falk dethrones Baker Mayfield as the most outstanding college player to start out as a walk on.

Looks like Graham jumped the gun a bit. Reports are the FSU meeting was actually going to take place in Scotsdale. Arizona when many were checking to see if he was flying to Florida today.
We'll know next day or two.

Taggart was supposed to have an at home visit in Houston with Oregon commit Miles Battle this evening. He cancelled and is flying directly back to Eugene tonight.

No worries Buddha, no one could ever accuse you of going all 'you know who' up here with less than 1500 posts in over 4 years of posting... :thumb:

except 1979
Which part of '79?
Men's Water Polo, Women's Swim and Dive, and Men's Tennis all scored championships in the 78-79 season or 79-80 season.

I don't think anyone can deny what a great season the dude has had. No way should a guy his size be doing what he does in that style of offense, which makes it even more impressive.
