The old "let's play timid prevent defense and hold on for dear life" method almost cost them. Oh, and the refs swallowed their whistles way too much in those last 10 minutes, even for a playoff game. There has to be some level of infraction that gets called. The Wild got away with murder. Even the NBC announcers were ranting about how much the Wild were getting away with.
I hope we play St. Louis. The matchup is awful and Elliott has been a wall in net, but the Blackhawks are a different playoff beast altogether. The Blues are like the Stars in that they're mentally fragile and find ways to lose. The Blackhawks seem to find new ways to win and refuse to be eliminated. Neither team is a picnic, though.

Improved defense and goaltending with Kari in the net should make a difference in the results from the regular season vs the Bues. I think the Blues were 4-1 vs the Stars this year, but I expect a different result at this juncture. Will be good to see if Seguin is back to himself, would go a long way towards the Stars chances
