I'm OK with trying to get under the skin of an opposing player but I do not think a player should have to put up with racist slurs or have things thrown at him (or her).

Geez, I hate to use Jose Canseco as a good example but in my late teens / early 20s when we were going to a lot of games cheaply at Memorial Stadium they would be merciless to him - just goofy stuff. He would smile and say stuff back, occasionally flip the crowd the bird (hand hidden in glove) and none of it ever got too serious or heated.

Not surprising that the Red Sox are too much of cowards to throw at Machado after he homers. Then their buddies in the league office might to have to at least consider taking action. Better to be cowards.

The Generals would probably have a better chance against Cleveland.

We joke about how in hockey guys like Marleau and Stamkos etc. disappear in the playoffs but I really think a special examination is needed for Demar Derozan. How you can be a top 5 scorer in the regular season and then barely average 20 points per game (which will probably only get lower from here) in the playoffs is so crazy.

Combined, him and Lowry have averaged 15 points per game less in the playoffs than they did in the regular season. How can you turn so bad so fast?
