I also want this bad, but 3500 is a little too much right now.

My buddy has at least 1 PRS (think he sold one). I think they sound as good as any guitar made

Not sure how "out there" you guys are with your music. You guys should check out all of Paul Masvidal's work. I will post youtube vids later, I'm at work...

Cynic - (technical death metal/jazz fusion)
Portal - (very worldly style of music, mixed with jazz fusion)
Aeon Spoke - (progressive rock)

Sean Malone was the bassist for Cynic. Sean Malone's band Gordian Knot is worth checking out as well.

How cool is this.... Black Sabbath's "Warning" was actually a cover song.
and Ozzy fucked up the lyrics from whence the song title came.
(I was warned about you baby -> I was born without you baby).
Song title makes a heck of a lot more sense in context.

found it here, which is a pretty cool read / listen

how do you tune a 6 string Uke? is it standard like a guitar, or on an open tuning?
I have a uke for my kid to start out on, have it just the standard C-tuning (G C E A)

I tune my 6-string tenor, with the C paired with a high-Cs string and the A paired with a low-A string. So the tuning can be listed as G-cC-E-aA. I also tried G-Cc-E-Aa, but it didn't sound as "full".
It took a couple of weeks for the strings to "bed down", but once they had settled they sounded really good.

AZChords.com >>> Tablatures, Tabs, Chords for Guitar and Bass

its a pretty good site to jam some tunes too..I usually find some songs I like, and play along to it on youtube.

nice. I use this ULTIMATE GUITAR TABS ARCHIVE as the bible.
I like it because the tabs are rated, so you can tell the good ones from the crap before spending much time on it.
they pay their royalties to some dodgy music publishing arm in russia, so they were able to sidestep the RIAA tidal wave that took down OLGA and the others.

Found my next guitar... Baritone with built in capo to switch to standard tuning easily. This is perfect for my metal playing. $999.00, worth it. The reviews are excellent.
